Brandon McManus Partners with North Penn Through Stadium for the Future Campaign

North Penn School District (NPSD) has partnered with the NPSD Educational Foundation to excite and engage the community in the upcoming renovation project of Crawford Stadium at North Penn High School (NPHS) through an initiative called Stadium For the Future. Brandon McManus, NPHS '09 graduate and Super Bowl 50 Champion, has also agreed to join forces in support of this milestone in North Penn history.

Stadium For the Future is a community campaign that will be held in the form of two events featuring Brandon McManus, designed to support the Crawford Stadium project while building our legacy together.

The campaign will kick off on April 24 at the U-Knight to Celebrate Gala, featuring Brandon McManus and other guest speakers. This special event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at PineCrest Country Club and will include entertainment and silent and live auctions. Items up for grabs include exciting vacations, sports memorabilia and more. Tickets are required to attend and sponsorships are available. Sponsorship packages include donor names on a permanent “plaque” at the new and improved Crawford Stadium, a private cocktail hour with Brandon McManus and more. The following day, on April 25, McManus invites North Penn students to join him at the Brandon McManus Kickball Tournament and Home Run Derby at NPHS. The event will feature games by grade level followed by a home run derby. Teams are limited this inaugural year so be sure to register soon. It is sure to be a great day for students and families. The North Penn community will benefit from a facility that will meet the needs of students and spectators alike. Modern and accessible, the newly renovated Crawford Stadium is designed to not only be safe, but to bring community events back home where they belong.

Major improvements to Crawford Stadium are needed to make the stands handicapped accessible, the bathrooms capable of servicing thousands of visitors and the field usable as we change it from grass to turf. For many years now, the soil conditions of the field have been such that it is often not even used by our teams, forcing us to use neighboring facilities. A new turf field will allow more teams and community groups to use Crawford Stadium. The total cost for renovations is $8,187,310.

The success of Crawford Stadium will be the product of the hard work, dedication, and loyalty of each and every member of our community and a great source of pride for generations to come. NPSD looks forward to building our legacy together through the Stadium for the Future campaign.
