Round Guys Brewing Company proudly celebrates a new community partnership with the Lansdale-based Headway Art Collective.
Beginning July 1, Round Guys Brewing Company will host an “Artist in Residency” series, where select art from the Headway Art Collective will be featured on the Round Guys Brewing Company Instagram account, @RoundGuysBrewery. This addition further cements the tight linking of craft beer with creativity and art.
For those not aware, the Headway Art Collective partners up with local establishments to showcase local fare with local art. Local artists proudly display and, on occasion, sell their works while promoting the local business they’re partnering with. For Round Guys Brewing Company, it felt only natural to return the favor.
Round Guys Brewing Company maintains a long history with the local artist community. Local born graphic designer, Karen Katz, helped design many of the labels you may be most familiar with, including the label for Secret Garden Watermelon Wheat and the collaboration beer with Backyard Beans Coffee Company, Rebirth of the Cool Coffee Imperial Stout. Recently, the brewery collaborated with comic book hard rockers, the Stereotytans, of whom artist James Comey designed a special comic book featuring the story of the beer. And, more notably to fans of the Underground by Round Guys Brewing Company, Headway Art Collective member Billy Leake designed the collectable monthly caricature art used for events cards.
Also, be sure to join Headway Art on July 19, between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Headway artists onsite at the Round Guys Brewing Company patio.
