Lidl to Hold Grand Opening Wednesday Morning, Free Gift Cards to First 100 Customers

Lidl has announced it will open its first store in Towamencin on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The new food market, located at 1150 Welsh Road, will hold a ribbon cutting event beginning at 7:40 a.m., and will kick off a weekend of special offers, giveaways, and prizes for shoppers. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Sunday. This will be Lidl’s seventh store in Pennsylvania.

“Lidl is bringing high quality groceries at low prices to the [Lansdale-area community] and we are so excited to be your local team here at the store,” said Towamencin Store Manager Jack Barboza. “We will work hard to serve you with an incredible shopping experience every day.”

Grand Opening Event Details

Customers will be able to take advantage of get-them-while-you-can grand opening special offers at the new Towamencin store. It will include the following:

  • The first 100 customers will be presented with a special gift card ranging from $5 to $100 each.
  • Shoppers can get free samples of an array of Lidl’s products and a complimentary Lidl reusable bag while supplies last.
  • Games, activities, prizes, special deals and giveaways throughout grand opening weekend.
