Upper Gwynedd Township Police Chief David Duffy kindly offered to give North Penn Now staff a tour of the police station on Wednesday morning.
From the staff offices and bullpens, to the holding cells and the expansive underground passageways connecting to the township’s administration building, we made our way through it all.
Check out North Penn Now photographer Bob Kelly’s gallery below to see some of the more unique features of the police station, including police motorcycles, the armory, beautiful murals and a framed history of UGPD police badges.
Additionally, be on the lookout in the coming weeks for a feature on UGPD’s work in the community, as well as a look at their Special Needs Registry for residents.
