Two local teens were hospitalized on Friday morning, following a single-vehicle crash on South Perkasie Road in Hilltown Township.
According to the release, police were dispatched to the 700 block of South Perkasie Road at 6:57 a.m. for a report of a vehicle crash with entrapment. Upon arrival, police found a single vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole, with two juvenile females trapped inside.
Units from multiple area fire departments worked to free the victims, according to the release. Once freed, a 15-year-old female was airlifted to Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children by Temple MedFlight, and a 17-year-old female was transported via ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
The nature of their injuries, as well as their current conditions, have not been released.
In addition to the Hilltown Township Police Department, units from the Silverdale Volunteer Fire Company, Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Company, Perkasie Fire Company, Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Grandview Health Medic 151, Perkasie Borough Police Department, Pennridge Regional Police Department, Bedminster Township Police Department, Warrington Township Police Department and Hilltown Township Public Works Department assisted at the scene.
The crash currently remains under investigation by the Hilltown Township Police Department and Bucks County Crash Investigation Team.
