Pop Up Concert of Local Favorites Happening Saturday Night at The Underground

UPDATE: Jan. 18, 11:43 a.m. - Due to a last minute act cancellation, I Think Like Midnight will not be performing on Saturday night. Instead, The Underground is putting together a one off concert featuring local favorite acts to celebrate the return of "Professor Booty" to the beer taps at The Underground.

This event will feature special performances by Big Handsome, RW Hellborn of Riverside Odds, and Underwater Robots. We will be playing Beastie Boys music in between sets and serving $5 "Brass Monkey" drinks all night long! Tickets are $5 and are available online with NO TICKET FEES!

Original story follows...

This weekend, Lansdale is in for a real treat as I Think Like Midnight rolls into town with their sweet, melodic, instrumental sound. Their origins, as stated on their website are:

“I Think Like Midnight is an instrumental rock band formed by longtime devotees of the lost art of the succinct rock instrumental. Begun as a recording project, guitarist/songwriter Andrew Chalfen (The Trolleyvox, The Wishniaks, Gimme) and drummer Dean Clean Sabatino (The Dead Milkmen, Baby Flamehead) were so pleased with the results that they decided to release the material and put together a full band, recruiting bassist Josh Newman (American Altitude, The Silver Ages, Heyward Howkins Band) and keyboardist Joe Genaro (The Dead Milkmen, Butterfly Joe, Low Budgets).”

As previous guests on “Round Guys Radio” with host and Round Guys co-owner, Bill McGeeney, this supergroup had a great chat about their music, explaining their thoughts on what makes a great song. Be sure to check out their episode online and preview an acoustic version of their song, “Postdrome,” from an in studio performance.

I Think Like Midnight is surely ready to entertain and have concert-goers wowed by their full and melodic sound.
