A popular women’s clothing boutique in downtown Lansdale has found themselves on the receiving end of the Lansdale Borough Economic Development Committee’s Business of the Moth award for February.
Love Obsessed, which opened at 311 West Main Street in October 2018, was selected by the committee as February’s nominee, and owner Stacy Dill was presented with the award during Wednesday night’s borough council business meeting. The Lansdale location was Dill’s third store to be launched since 2016, and in the time since, Dill has opened a new store in Ocean City, NJ, a plus-size store in Souderton and a sixth location inside the King of Prussia Mall.
“Seeing the growth in Lansdale, I definitely wanted to be a part of it,” said Dill, prior to the opening of her store on Main Street. “I’m excited about what’s happening with the town, just like everyone else is.”
Under the Love Obsessed brand, Dill sells a mix of original and externally manufactured items, including clothing, jewelry, shoes, unique gifts and more. Additionally, each location has its own unique inventory and style.
“The Lansdale store [is] very BoHo inspired, along with beachy casual wear, everyday pieces and things like that,” Dill said. “Each of my locations has a different vibe and feel to it. That’s something that’s unique about us.”
Hawkins Charlton, who presented the award, said she had a blast visiting the store, though she tried her best not to shop while she was researching.
“To me, her store—and many others on Main Street and throughout the borough—are starting to create a feeling of what many generations miss while living in Lansdale,” said Hawkins Charlton. “A family owned store that welcomes you with open arms, and gives you personalized service. I wish Stacy and her entire team the best success, and I thank her for choosing Lansdale.”
