For the sixth-consecutive season, the North Penn Boys Bowling Team has been crowned champions of the Suburban One League.

The team finished a league-best 52-4 for the 2019-2020 season, with all three members being the top three bowlers in the American Division. Over the past two seasons, their record is a dominant 107-5.

Team members Lucas Francis (235.62), James Carnal (214.97) and Martin Grace (209.69) all held season-long averages above 200. With the Suburban One Championship in hand, the three boys will join their coach, Donald Stadnycki, at a regional competition at the end of February.

Of note for the 2019-2020 season, Francis began his season by rolling a perfect game during the team’s Dec. 6 matchup against Upper Moreland High School at Earl Bowl Lanes. In that same matchup, Francis nearly rolled a second perfect game, but just missed with a score of 289.

North Penn Now wishes the team and coach the best of luck at their upcoming competition.
