A Warminster hunter has been charged with homicide and five misdemeanors in the fatal shooting of Jason Kutt at Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County on Oct. 24, according to Laurie Schroeder of The Morning Call.
Kenneth Troy Heller, 52, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday, was denied bail and sent to Bucks County prison, according to the report. Heller faces 10 to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Kutt, who graduated this year from Pennridge High School, was shot at 5:15 p.m. off the Old Ridge Road access as he sat with his girlfriend by the lake in the park.
Heller has a history of misdemeanor arrests dating back to the 1990s in Bucks County, which include possession of an instrument of crime.
