Montco Man Possessed 600 Images of Child Porn, Including Infants and Drugged Children: DA

A Conshohocken man is facing 100 felony charges in connection with a child pornography investigation by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.

According to a release from District Attorney Kevin Steele, the investigation began when county detectives received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Dropbox account containing 47 images of child pornography. The release states that all of the images depicted girls between infancy and 8 years old involved in sexual activities.

Investigators executed a search warrant on the Dropbox account and recovered 662 image files of child pornography, and a review of the files showed girls less than 12 years old involved in sexual activities, the release states. Additionally, some of the children appeared to be drugged or physically restrained, investigators said.

The release states that the Dropbox account was traced back to 23-year-old Jorvan Ramos Martinez, who was later taken into custody and charged with 100 felony counts of possessing child pornography.

Martinez was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge John Kessler, who set bail at $25,000 unsecured. A preliminary hearing has been set for Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Deborah Lukens.

(All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using court records and the affidavit of probable cause.)
