Dozens of residents joined local officials on Sunday evening for a holiday tree lighting ceremony in North Wales Borough.
The event occurred at 5 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the intersection of East Montgomery Avenue and South Main Street, and included a tree lighting countdown and a guest appearance by Santa Claus, who arrived on top of North Penn Fire Company’s Ladder 62. Children were also allowed to deposit their letters for Santa into an official North Pole mailbox.
