Vehicle Parade Held for Towamencin Supervisor Battling Cancer: Photos

Dozens of friends, family members, first responders and military veterans participated in a parade on Saturday morning honoring Towamencin Township Supervisor Jim Sinz.

Organized by Sinz’s daughter, Megan Sinz Gray, and Megan’s friend, Jillian Maiese, the parade sought to show support for Sinz, who is currently battling an incurable form of brain cancer. After staging at Pennfield Middle School, the vehicles—lead by the local VFW—made their way to the Sinz residence on Kimberly Way, many adorned with American flags.

Prior to his time as a Towamencin Township Supervisor, Sinz served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. As a special feature of the parade, some of Sinz’s naval friends made their way up from Virginia to participate.

North Penn Now photographer Bob Kelly was posted at the Sinz residence and snapped a variety of photos that captured the incredibly emotional event. Please take a moment to view his images below.
