Easter Bunny Runs Across the North Penn Area: Photos

“What’s with all the sirens?”

We received quite a few of those questions over the weekend, as multiple area fire companies and police departments participated in a series of Easter Bunny runs to celebrate Easter in a time of social distancing and stay-at-home orders.

On Saturday, the Colmar Fire Company began their run around 9 a.m. and made their way through Hatfield Borough and Hatfield Township. At 11 a.m., the Fairmount Fire Company joined the fun and made their way through Lansdale Borough, and on Sunday morning, members of the Upper Gwynedd Fire Department joined in and made their way through the township.

Below is a photo gallery pieced together with images from North Penn Now photographer Bob Kelly, North Penn Fire Company photographer Matthew Beatty and the fire companies themselves.
