Multiple Thefts from Vehicles Reported in Hilltown Township Over Weekend

(The following is a release from the Hilltown Township Police Department.)

Numerous other municipalities in Bucks County have been plagued with thefts from vehicles in the past few months. Now Hilltown Township has been added to the list. Overnight Saturday, several residents had items taken from unlocked vehicles.

Thefts from unlocked vehicles have been reported in the news outlets and has been the topic of social media posts for years. We can’t urge you enough to please lock your vehicles. In the event you become victim, do not touch anything in or on the vehicle and call the police. We will come out to inspect for any evidence and complete an incident report. It is vital that you to notify the police. The evidence from your incident might be just what is needed to help end this crime spree.

This is also an excellent opportunity for you to help the police and your neighbors. Consider enrolling your home surveillance cameras with our Camera Registry. Click here to learn more about the program and to register.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
