Crews Responding to Fire on Line Lexington Road in Hatfield

UPDATE: Sept. 24, 12:58 p.m. - The scene has since been cleared, and the road has been reopened. We will follow up with the fire department regarding the cause and extent of the fire.

Multiple fire companies are on the scene of a residential fire along the 3200 block of Line Lexington Road in Hatfield Township.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, the incident began at 11:10 a.m. near the intersection of Woodview Drive. Sources on the scene say there is smoke and fire showing from the rear of the building.

No injuries have been reported at this time. Line Lexington Road has been closed, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Units from the Hatfield Township Police Department, Hatfield Fire Company, Hilltown Fire Company, Colmar Fire Company, Fire Department of Montgomery Township and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale are currently at the scene.
