The event is scheduled for Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Penn High School, located at 1340 South Valley Forge Road in Towamencin Township. Most electronic items are free to recycle, including cell phones, tablets, computer towers, laptops, cords, wires and more.
Items that are potentially hazardous will also be disposed of, but for a fee. Flat-screen televisions cost $10 each, air conditioners are $15, microwaves are $5 and CRT monitors and televisions are between $25 and $75, depending upon size.
Large appliances such as stoves and refrigerators will not be accepted. The event is free, though the club will gladly accept monetary donations. Questions can be emailed to [email protected].
