Multiple area fire companies responded to a fire at the Valley Stream Apartment community in Hatfield Township on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, members of the Colmar Fire Company were dispatched to the area of Line Street and Cowpath Road at 4:52 p.m. for a report of a building fire. Upon arrival, firefighters located an oven fire in one of the apartments, and quickly knocked it down.
“Crews kept the fire contained within the oven, and removed smoke from the building,” said the Colmar Fire Department, via Twitter.
No injuries were reported.
Colmar Fire Company was assisted at the scene by the Fire Department
of Montgomery Township, the Hilltown Township Fire Department and the Hatfield
Township Police Department.
