Residents Urged to Lock Their Doors Following Series of Burglaries in Lower Gwynedd

Lower Gwynedd Township Police are urging residents to keep the doors to their homes locked, following a series of burglaries in the Gwynedd Valley section of the township.

According to the release, there have been three burglaries that have occurred on Lorien Drive in the last 36 hours. Police said all of the burglaries occurred during the early-morning hours, and all of the homes were occupied at the time the burglaries occurred.

Entry to the homes was gained via unlocked doors, the release states.

A suspect was seen running from one of the homes at 7 a.m. this morning, and is described as a female with medium-to-long dark hair and wearing dark clothing. No further information was available.
