Crews Responding to House Fire in Montgomery Township

UPDATE: Oct. 3, 9:25 p.m.: The fire has been placed under control, and no injuries have been reported. A source at the scene told North Penn Now that the home has suffered extensive damage as a result of the fire.

Multiple fire companies are responding to the scene of a residential fire in Montgomery Township.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, crews were dispatched to the 100-block of Copperleaf Circle at 8:23 p.m. for a report of a bedroom fire. Sources tell North Penn Now that there is heavy fire showing from the second floor of the home.

The residents have all been evacuated, and no injuries have been reported at this time. Units from the Fire Department of Montgomery Township are being assisted at the scene by the Montgomery Township Police Department, Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale and Horsham, Hilltown, Chalfont and Colmar fire companies.
