(Editor’s note: the following is a press release from the Towamencin Township Police Department.)

The Towamencin Township Police Department (TTPD) is investigating a potential child luring incident within a single-family dwelling residential community in the area of Troxel Road and Valley Forge Road.

On Oct. 2 at approximately 5:30 p.m., an adult white male exited a “smaller” two-door, dark green pickup truck and approached a 5-year-old female. This male “made funny faces” and began to speak to the juvenile.

As the male continued walking towards the juvenile, a neighbor intervened and the male then quickly fled the area in the dark-green picking up. This adult white male is described as over 40-years-old, 5’10 tall, with a beard and an average build.

Any persons with information regarding the identity of this male or with similar investigations are asked to contact TTPD Detective Patrick Horne or TTPD Officer Patrick Kilroy at 215-268-7606.
