A popular local personal trainer is just days away from filling a vacant storefront on Main Street, as Carlee Myers Personal Training is set to open at her new location in Lansdale next week.
Located at 427 West Main Street, in the building formerly occupied by Minuteman Press, the new location provides a much larger space for training, and with it, much more opportunity for expansion and new services.
“Moving my business to Lansdale was very important to me because it's where I'm from,” said Myers. “I want to bring health and fitness to my community, and I'm really proud to now own a business here and be a part of Lansdale's growth.”
Myers said there’s no shortage of new ideas and programs in the works, including monthly gym challenges, educational classes, collaborations with neighboring businesses, pop-up fitness classes and more.
“One of the things I'm most excited about in the new space is adding group fitness classes,” said Myers. “Some people like working out on their own, but a lot of others thrive in a group environment. Personal training will benefit, too, because I'll have more availability with a bigger space.”
Carlee Myers Personal Training specializes in core strengthening, weight loss, and strength and conditioning, with an added focus on education and safety. Myers has a bachelor’s degree in exercises physiology, as well as certifications from the American Aerobic Association International, American Fitness Professionals and Associates, and is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
