The Montgomery County Gymnastics and Cheer Center (Montco Gym) in Harleysville abruptly closed their doors on Thursday afternoon.
Members of the gym—located along the 100 block of Christopher Lane—were informed of the closure via email just before 4 p.m. The email reads verbatim (including errors):
“To our Montco Family,
On behalf of Montgomery County Gymnastics & Cheer Center, LLC (Montco Gym). I regret to inform you that Montco Gym is closed for business, located at 110 Christopher Lane, Harleysville, PA 19438, as of Thursday, May 16th, 2019. We appreciate your support and hope to be able to work with you in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Montco Gym was a provider of gymnastics, cheerleading and sports training, and the facility also was used to host birthday parties and open gym time for kids.
Attempts to reach the business have been unsuccessful. An email sent from North Penn Now has not been returned, and calls to the location either lead to a busy signal or a full mailbox.
There is currently no information available regarding refunding membership fees, birthday deposits, classes or anything else along those lines. Should we hear back from the owners at any point, we will update this article accordingly.
