Hilltown Township Police have announced the arrest of 41-year-old Jean Alvarenga Santos, of Telford, after he allegedly sexually assaulted two juvenile victims.
According to the press release, Hilltown Police began investigating a possible sexual assault that occurred along the 200 block of Washington Place in March. As a result of the investigation, police discovered that two juvenile victims—both under 13-years-old—were sexually assaulted by Alvarenga Santos in March and April of this year.
As a result of the investigation, Alvarenga Santos has been charged with one felony count of aggravated indecent assault of a child, two felony counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, two counts of corruption of minors and two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
Alvarenga Santos was arraigned on April 26 by Magisterial District judge Regina Armitage, who set bail at $250,000 unsecured. He was then released from custody.
His next court appearance is a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Armitage on May 14 at 3:15 p.m.
