Towamencin Man Sentenced to Prison for Indecent Assault of Teen Girl

A Towamencin Township man is heading to state prison following a guilty plea to charges stemming from the indecent assault of a 16-year-old girl in Jan 2018.

Andre Keith Robinson, 35, of the 800 block of Freedom Circle, has plead guilty to charges of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault by force, and corruption of a minor, and will serve 2-to-4-years in state prison as part of a plea agreement, according to Carl Hessler Jr. at The Reporter.

Robinson will also serve five years of probation, must undergo drug, alcohol and mental health evaluations, and has a lifetime requirement to report his address to state police in compliance with Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act, according to the report.

The report states the investigation began on Jan. 21, 2018, when police received a report that Robinson had indecent contact with a teen girl. It was later determined that while Robinson and the victim were in a township residence, Robinson touched her inappropriately and made other indecent contact.

Additional charges of unlawful contact with a minor and endangering the welfare of a child were dropped as part of the agreement.
