Manhattan Bagel is just a few weeks away from their grand opening at the Pavilion Shopping Center in Lansdale.
The new shop—located at 401 South Broad Street—will occupy the former Saxby’s/Abyss Coffee location within the shopping center, and will feature a drive-through lane, communal tables for meetings and even a fireplace with seating. It will be the second location owned by Donald Bradley, who has owned the Manhattan Bagel in Chalfont for 13 years.
"My wife and I lived in Lansdale for a number of years, and loved the community,” said Bradley. "We have been closely following the exciting growth, and once we had the opportunity to open a new location in Lansdale, we jumped at the chance.”
As they prepare for their launch, Bradley states that he is looking to hire roughly 30 employees across a mix of full-time, part-time and high school (afterschool and weekend) positions. As a result, Manhattan Bagel will be hosting a trio of open-interview hiring events this coming weekend, in an effort to fill those positions. The events will be held:
• March 30, 1 p.m.
• March 30, 3 p.m.
• March 31, 1 p.m.
Applicants are asked to bring photo identification, a copy of their social security card and arrive at one of the three scheduled times. More information is available by clicking here.
