Multiple fire companies responded to the unit block of Brentwood Circle in Towamencin for a report of a dwelling fire on Monday morning.
First responders arrived to the scene just after 9 a.m., where they found smoke and fire within the home, according to our sources. Units from Towamencin, Hatfield and North Penn fire companies placed the fire under control roughly 40 minutes later.
One person was injured as a result of the fire, and they were later taken to the hospital via ambulance for treatment of smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
