Lansdale Man Receives Second Conviction For Child Pornography

A Lansdale man has received a second jail sentence after being convicted for possessing child pornography.

According to Mainline Media News, Eugene Lynn Heisey, 61, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court to a felony charge of possessing child pornography in relation to an incident in his home in September 2017. He was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in prison, but was given credit for time served while waiting for court action.

In addition to sentence, he will face five years of probation following parole, and must report his address to police for 15 years in compliance with the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act. He is also prohibited from having contact with minors without supervision. The judged ordered Heisey to also undergo a psychosexual evaluation.

According to the Reporter, this is Heisey’s second arrest for child pornography. In Aug. 2013, Heisey was arrested and charged with more than 100 counts related to child pornography, following an investigation that led the Montgomery County Detective Bureau to find nearly 10,000 images of child pornography in Heisey’s possession.

In Mar. 2015, he was declared a sexual predator and was sentenced to 11 ½ to 23 months of jail time and eight years of probation. He was also forced to give his cell phone and computer to authorities, and complete 100 hours of community service. He was prohibited from being in contact with minors and was prohibited from Internet use while under court supervision.
