Hatfield Township Police have announced the arrest of 32-year-old Christopher Greene, in connection with the alleged negligent discharge of a firearm on May 31.
According to the release, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Emily Court at 10:55 p.m. on May 31 for a report of a firearm being discharged. The investigation revealed that Greene allegedly negligently discharged a handgun inside of the residence, the report states.
The report states that the bullet fired by Greene exited the home and struck two adjoining residences. No injuries were reported.
Greene was taken into custody on June 20 and charged with one felony count of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, as well as three misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person. Green was then arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Paul Leo, who set his bail at $10,000 unsecured.
His next court appearance is a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Leo on July 3 at 9 a.m.
