Philadelphia Police have announced the arrest of an Upper Gwynedd man who allegedly sexually assaulted four young girls over a period of five months.
Duong Thach, 71, of the 600 block of Whittaker Place, has been charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of a minor, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors, in connection with the investigation by the Philadelphia Police Department.
According to 6ABC, the ages of the victims ranged from 9-to-16-years-old and all of the victims were members of the same family, which Thach knew through an acquaintance. A report by CBS3 quotes police as saying that the incidents occurred on South Carlisle Street, Christian Street, South 13th Street and West Porter Street between Jan. 1 and May 8.
Reports indicate that Thach was taken into custody by Philadelphia Police last week.
