Pennsylvania State Police have announced that they have recovered the body of a 43-year-old Harleysville man who went missing on June 4.
According to reports, the remains of Gregory Paul Nacios were recovered near the spillway area of Lake Nockamixon on Friday evening, following a 10 day search of the area. The cause of death has not been determined at this time, and is pending further testing.
The search began on June 4, when park officials discovered Nacios’ abandoned boat, along with his personal belongings. The boat—which had the engine still running—was found near the spillway in the southeastern part of the lake.
In a statement, state police said there are no signs of foul play regarding the disappearance and death of Nacios, and there is no known danger to the public.
