The Dublin Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police is seeking a pair of kayakers who may have information regarding the disappearance of 43-year-old Gregory Nacios, of Harleysville, at Lake Nockamixon last week.
According to a report by WFMZ, police have learned that two kayakers spotted a man on Nacios’ boat roughly three hour prior to a 9-1-1 call that reported Nacios missing. Police are asking that those two kayakers contact Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Jordan Rhodes at 215-766-5031.
Park officials discovered Nacios’ abandoned boat, along with his personal belongings, on June 4. The boat—which had the engine still running—was found near the spillway in the southeastern part of the lake. Nacios has not been heard from since.
Members of the state police, local fire companies and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources are continuing their search efforts. Anyone with information that may aid in the search is urged to contact Trooper Rhodes at 215-766-5032.
