Hatfield-based Imprint Beer Co. will host a charity cornhole tournament later this month, with proceeds from ticket sales being donated to a trio of local dog rescues.
The event will be held at the brewery—located at 1500 Industry Road Suite O in Hatfield—on June 30 from noon to 5 p.m., and will feature food from Dog Bites Hot Dogs and Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream. The three dog rescues—Home at Last, Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue and City of Elderly Love—will also be on-hand with merch, raffles, donation buckets, adoptable puppies and more.
On the tournament side, organizers are aiming for 32 teams in a double-elimination competition, with each matchup being a best of three games, and each game going to a score of 11. Teams can register for the tournament online for a fee of $40, which includes four drinks for that day.
Prizes for the top three teams are as follows:
• First Place – Two Imprint t-shirts, two $200 gift cards, and one 32-ounce crowler of every beer on tap that weekend.
• Second Place – Two Imprint t-shirts, two $100 gift cards
• Third Place – Two Imprint t-shirts, two $100 gift cards
In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be moved indoors and changed to single elimination. Additionally, should the event not sell out in advance, team sign-ups will also be held on the day of the event.
