According to reports, the incident occurred at 1:25 p.m. and both vehicles have sustained heavy damage. EMS is en route to the scene, though the amount and nature of the injuries are unknown at this time.
Both westbound Wambold Road and a portion of Schoolhouse Road have been closed due to the accident. Members of the Perseverance and Towamencin fire companies are on scene, along with units from the Franconia Township Police Department and Harleysville EMS.
