Worker Killed in Construction Accident on Turnpike

State Police are currently investigating the death of a worker in a fatal construction accident along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at a construction site near the Lansdale/Kulpsville exit. A report by 6ABC states that it was a construction-related incident that occurred within the construction zone, and did not involve vehicles passing by.

Additional information regarding the nature of the incident, as well as the name and age of the victim, has not been released at this time.

Members of PSP Skippack’s Criminal Investigative Unit are handling the investigation, and traffic has not been impacted by the incident, according to the report.
