Multiple Businesses Eyeing Locations at Towamencin Village Shopping Center

The Towamencin Village Shopping Center could see an infusion of new business over the coming year, with construction set to begin this coming fall.

According to a report by Joe LeCompte at WNPV, Philadelphia Suburban Development Corporation President Mark Nicoletti Sr. said that they are currently in talks with multiple businesses that are interested in opening new locations within the shopping center. The report quotes Nicoletti as saying that a fitness company is looking at occupying the former Genuardi’s location, and PJ Whelihan’s is in talks to occupy the former Sears building.

Additionally, the report states that Andy’s Diner has expressed interest in the shopping center, and developers also plan to build a 226-unit, age-restricted retirement community that has already received approval from Towamencin Township.

The Towamencin Village Shopping Center is located at the intersection of Allentown and Forty Foot roads in Towamencin Township. To hear the full WNPV interview, click here.
