Men Who Robbed Hatfield Home Twice in Same Night Sentenced to Prison

Two of the three men responsible for a pair of same-day robberies in Hatfield have been sentenced to prison following a plea agreement with prosecutors.

As a result of the plea deal:

John Comer, 28, has plead guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit criminal trespass and one felony count of robbery. Comer has been sentenced to 11-to-23-months in county jail, followed by two years of probation. All other charges were dropped.

Xavier Cintron, 26, has plead guilty to one felony count of robbery and one felony count of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Cintron has been sentenced to 8-to-23-months in county jail, followed by three years of probation. All other charges were dropped.

A third defendant, 30-year-old Alberto Cintron Jr., is still awaiting court action on charges of robbery, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, simple assault, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy to commit those offenses, according to Carl Hessler Jr. at The Reporter.

Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lenhart Road at 7:42 p.m. on Jan. 26 for a report of a burglary in progress. The resident reported that three men—identified as Alberto Cintron, 30, Xavier Cintron, 26, and John Comer, 28,—had entered his residence and stolen numerous items belonging to his roommate, including a pet snake, 50-inch flat screen television, X-Box One and a soundbar. One of the men was reportedly armed with a metal pipe that resembled an expandable police baton, who ordered the victim to remain in the kitchen while the other two men took items from the home.

All three suspects then fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Police responded back to the home at 9:41 p.m. after receiving another 9-1-1 call reporting that the robbery suspects had returned. Once on scene, police encountered the three suspects and placed them under arrest. The police report from January states that some of the stolen property was recovered on scene, and the suspects’ vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant application.
