A Lansdale woman has been charged with felony criminal mischief, after she allegedly keyed a vehicle that belonged to a relative of her ex-boyfriend in Doylestown late last month.
According to the release from the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, police responded to a disturbance along East Oakland Avenue in Doylestown Borough on June 28 at 3:28 a.m. Police determined that a woman—identified as 25-year-old Bria Lenart—had allegedly initiated a disturbance involving her ex-boyfriend, and police subsequently took her information and cited her for disorderly conduct.
The report states that immediately after she was cited, Lenart proceeded to a vehicle owned by a relative of her ex-boyfriend and allegedly keyed the vehicle on all sides, causing significant damage. Lenart was then taken into custody.
As a result of the incident, Lenart has been charged with one felony count of criminal mischief, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, and a summary charge of disorderly conduct. Lenart was arraigned on June 28 by Magisterial District Judge Mark Douple, who set bail at $5,000 unsecured. She was then released from custody.
Lenart’s next court appearance is a formal arraignment at the Bucks County Courthouse on Aug. 16 at noon.
