Vehicle Crash Forces Closure of Valley Forge Road in Worcester Township

UPDATE: July 17, 1:26 p.m. - The driver of the vehicle has been extricated and is now with EMS. We are awaiting word on his condition.

Valley Forge Road has been closed in both directions following a single-vehicle accident in Worcester Township.

According to reports, the incident occurred at 12:46 p.m. near the intersection between Valley Forge and Artmar roads. Personnel from the Worcester Volunteer Fire Department are currently on scene working to extricate a male driver of an overturned minivan, according to sources.

There is currently no word on any injuries.

Fire police from Worcester, Lower Providence and Norriton Fire companies are assisting at the scene. Sources tell North Penn Now that the road could be closed for a lengthy period, so motorists should avoid the area.
