Lansdale Man Injured in Warrington Crash, Police Seek Witnesses

A Lansdale man was injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Warrington Township on Wednesday morning.

According to the release, police were dispatched to the crash scene on Pickertown Road between Argyle Lane and Blue Bell Lane just after 8 a.m. for a report of an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, police found two vehicles—a Chevy Trailblazer driven by 31-year-old Gabrielle Houtras, of Warrington, and a Toyota Prius driven by 57-year-old David Case, of Lansdale—on the front lawn of a residential property.

The release states that Houtras was traveling westbound on Pickertown Road, and Case was traveling eastbound on Pickertown Road at the time of the crash. Both drivers were injured as a result of the crash, with Houtras sustaining head trauma and Case sustaining several broken bones in his lower extremities.

Both drivers were taken to Abington Hospital for treatment, and Case also had to be extricated from his vehicle via the “Jaws of Life,” according to the report.

The cause of the head-on collision remains under investigation, and police are seeking witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Officer Eric Sanford at 215-343-3311, and tips can also be submitted online via Crimewatch.

Warrington Township Police were assisted at the scene by members of the Warrington Fire Company and Warrington Ambulance, according to the report.
