Eight Injured in Crash on Route 113 Sunday Afternoon

Hilltown Township Police have released the details of their investigation into a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon.

According to the release, police were dispatched to the intersection of Route 113 and Minsi Trail at 1:35 p.m. for a report of an accident with injuries and entrapment. Upon arrival, police discovered that a vehicle traveling northbound on Minsi Trail failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection, and struck a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 113.

Six ambulances responded to the scene, transporting eight injured patients to Lehigh Valley Hospital and Saint Luke’s in Quakertown. Their injuries ranged from minor to moderate, according to the release.

Hilltown Township Police were assisted at the scene by Pennsylvania State Police, Bedminster Township Police, Dublin Borough Police, Dublin Fire Company, Grand View health EMS, Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS, Chal-Brit Regional EMS and Central Bucks EMS.

The release does not mention any charges against the striking driver.
