Hatfield Police have announced the arrest of three men who allegedly stole multiple items from a home on Lenhart Road, and then returned hours later for more.
According to the release, police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lenhart Road at 7:42 p.m. on Jan. 26 for a report of a burglary in progress. The resident reported that three men—identified as Alberto Cintron, 30, Xavier Cintron, 26, and John Comer, 28,—had entered his residence and stolen numerous items belonging to his roommate, including a pet snake, 50-inch flat screen television, X-Box One and a soundbar. One of the men was reportedly armed with a metal pipe that resembled an expandable police baton, who ordered the victim to remain in the kitchen while the other two men took items from the home.
All three suspects then fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Police responded back to the home at 9:41 p.m. after receiving another 9-1-1 call reporting that the robbery suspects had returned. Once on scene, police encountered the three suspects and placed them under arrest. The report states that some of the stolen property was recovered on scene, and the suspects’ vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant application.
Alberton Cintron has been charged with robbery, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, simple assault, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy to commit those offenses. Xavier Cintron has been charged with robbery, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy to commit those offenses. John Comer has been charged with robbery, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to commit those offenses.
All three men were arraigned on Jan. 27 by Magisterial District Judge Suzan Leonard, who set bail for each suspect at $50,000 cash. All three were then remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail.
A Preliminary hearing for all three suspects has been scheduled for Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrea Hudak Duffy.
