UPDATE: Jan. 12, 9:36 p.m. - Both vehicles have been removed from the intersection, and the scene is now clear. Traffic has resumed a normal pattern through the intersection.
UPDATE: Jan. 12, 8:24 p.m. - According to our source at the scene, both vehicles are heavily damaged, and there is a heavy police presence. Though the extent of the injuries are unknown, our source has confirmed that four to five people have reported injuries at the scene. The intersection is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time, and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
Multiple EMS units are on scene, and the vehicles are blocking the intersection. Police are advising that Route 63 at Wambold Road will be closed for an extended period of time. Avoid the area.
