Hilltown Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying two male suspects who allegedly stole a woman’s purse at Walmart just two days before Christmas.
According to the release, police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot during the evening of Dec. 23 for a report of a stolen purse. Once on scene, a female victim informed police that her purse had been stolen from her cart while she was loading recently purchased items into her vehicle. The subsequent investigation revealed that the suspects were caught on surveillance footage using the victim’s debit card at a nearby convenience store shortly after the theft. They then left in what is believed to be a light-colored Nissan Sentra sedan.
Police are asking that anyone who may recognize the suspects, or who may have information that could lead to their whereabouts, to contact Officer Christopher Ferry of the Hilltown Township Police Department at 215-453-6000 or via email at [email protected].
