Upper Gwynedd Board Recognizes Police Officer, Promotes Another

At Monday’s Upper Gwynedd Township Board of Commissioners meeting, the board took an opportunity to recognize a couple milestones.

The commissioners first recognized Upper Gwynedd Police Officer Michael Romanowicz for his 10 years of service to the Upper Gwynedd Police Department. They also celebrated the recent birth of Romanowics’ daughter, Brynn Kathleen.

The commissioners also agreed to the promotion of Detective Sergeant Ted Caiola to the rank of Deputy Chief. His promotion will go into effect at the July commissioners meeting. Caiola will be replacing current Deputy Chief David Poirier, who is retiring at the end of the year.
