A long-standing fixture outside of the Montgomeryville Mall has become noticeably absent, as TGI Fridays has permanently closed its doors.
The building is now devoid of its signature logos and awnings, and calls to the former business result in loop of “hold music” with no one picking up. The Facebook page for the Montgomeryville location has been taken over by the franchise’s corporate page, with the last local Facebook post occurring on Feb. 18. External links to the location now route back to the corporate page, as well.
Calls from North Penn Now to the TGI Fridays corporate office regarding why the location closed have gone un-returned. Should we hear back, we will update this article to reflect their comment.
The restaurant had been in business for more than 20 years at the Montgomeryville location. At its closure, TGI Friday’s had a 2.5 out of 5 rating on Yelp.
