Hatfield Borough is having its share of woes due to today's windstorms.

Currently Hatfield is reporting a borough-wide power outage because of a large tree that came down at Maple Avenue and Broad Street, according to MontcoAlerts. This is the second outage reported in town today, after an early morning localized disruption of electrical service.

Crews are on location and the borough is updating conditions via its Facebook feed. "The wind is really making things difficult for everyone," the borough posted on FB. "Please hang in there and stay tuned."

Winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 mph are expected to continue to plague the vicinity until 6 p.m. tonight, according to a National Weather Service High Wind Warning alert.
