NPHS Senior Selected As Finalist For Prestigious Scholarship

A North Penn High School senior was selected as a finalist for the 2019 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.

William Wermuth was selected as one of 251 students to be finalists for the scholarship program and will move on to the next round for a chance at a $20,000 scholarship.

He was selected as one of 1,896 semifinalists out of 95,000 initial applications. After the interview process is completed, 150 of the finalists will be chosen to each receive a $20,000 scholarship to be used at their college of choice.

In addition to the scholarship money, Coca-Cola Scholars are invited to a Scholars Weekend in early April. The weekend consists of a banquet to celebrate the finalists’ achievements, a leadership development curriculum and networking.
