A North Wales man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after he allegedly exposed himself to four 11-year-old children in Springfield Township on Dec. 13.
According to the Springfield Township Police Department, a male suspect was walking behind a group of four 11-year-old children along the 900 block of Willow Grove Avenue on Dec. 13 at 4:08 p.m. when he allegedly exposed himself to the children. Springfield Township Police then put out a public request for information on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon in the hopes of identifying the suspect.
The suspect was ultimately identified as 22-year-old Christian Aristizabal, of the 400 block of Washington Avenue in North Wales Borough, and Aristizabal was subsequently taken into custody.
As a result of the investigation, Aristizabal has been charged with six felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor, along with misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
Aristizabal was arraigned at 11 a.m. this morning by Magisterial District Judge Katherine McGill, who set bail at $50,000 cash. Aristizabal was then remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail, and his next court appearance is a preliminary hearing on Jan 2, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. in front of Judge McGill.
