As the holidays rapidly approach, a jolly old man from the North Pole has been working overtime to ensure he’s ready for that one evening of magic and wonder.
Fortunately for the residents of Hatfield Township and the surrounding communities, Santa decided to take a brief pause from his work on Saturday to make an appearance and take down wish-lists from (no doubt) good little boys and girls.
Santa arrived to the Hatfield Township Building via fire truck around 11 a.m. on Saturday, and greeted the more than 150 people in attendance, including many of Hatfield’s Finest. As the kids took turns sitting on his lap and posing for photos, a variety of other festivities were held including holiday card and ornament decorating, candy cane fishing, a hot cocoa marshmallow toss and more.
By 1 p.m., the old man was on his way back to his workshop, and the kids and families returned to their homes, counting down the days until Santa’s return.
North Penn Now photographer Bob Kelly was on the scene, taking in all of the festivities and capturing the (mostly) smiling faces. Check out his photo gallery below!
