Hundreds Turn Out for Upper Gwynedd Township’s Holiday Lights Festival

The resilience of Upper Gwynedd Township was on display Friday night, as the annual Holiday Lights Festival drew hundreds of residents and guests for an evening of lights and holiday-themed activities.

Earlier in the week, the display was targeted by vandals who damaged several custom-built items along with some of the lights. The township acted quickly, however, in replacing and rebuilding the display, and ultimately, they were able to host the event as scheduled.

In addition to the lights, the event featured horse carriage rides, games, music, face painting and more. The event also served as a collection point for Toys for Tots.

North Penn Now photographer Bob Kelly was on location, snapping up dozens of images of the festivities and the people who were enjoying them. Check out his gallery below!
